About STARS: With a mission to empower and enrich lives through adaptive recreational activities, STARS (Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports) was founded in 2006 to provide recreational programming to individuals with disabilities. We strive to increase our participants’ independence while focusing on their abilities rather than disabilities. Our program is based on the three pillars of safety, fun, and learning so participants can work to achieve their personal goals!

Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) was opened in 1959.  It provides short-term and residential services to assist individuals living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. Ongoing active treatment is provided so individuals can acquire skills toward personal independence to attain a high quality of life. Currently, more than 200 people live in the residential program.

Behavioral Health facility.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks offer internships to any student enrolled in an accredited universtiy/college. Most positions are paid however some are volunteer only and not all locations offer housing.

State long-term-care facility for veterans.  200 acre campus. Large activity department. CTRS on staff providing therapeutic recreation.

Robert Young Behavioral Health Center, Trinity is a health center focused on helping children, adolescents, and adults deal with behavioral health, give acute care and help with substance abuse.
