An opportunity for the undergrad  recreation majors at St. Francis to aid, organize, and develop a stem and recreational related summer camp program for upwards of 1,000 youth in 1st-5th grade. This is a paid internship and will help students in their pursuit of a career in recreation and sports management. See below for a general internship description.

The Boy Scouts of America’s Rainbow Council is looking for interns to develop and implement a Stem directed program for upwards of 1,000 youth.

Camp Laurel South is a residential summer camp in Maine seeking college students to be activity instructors and camp counselors for the summer of 2016.

The Summer Free for All Program with Portland Parks & Recreation will be accepting Applications for the 2016 Summer Free for All Internship. Interns accepted into the paid internship program will work with one of three following programs: Movies, Concerts, or Playgrounds in the Park. Therapeutic Sports and Recreation Department at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital has modified our internship/fieldwork program to expand volunteer opportunities for students wishing to gain clinical experience prior to the Senior Internship.

Manorcare Health Services in Oal Lawn East is looking for students for a great hands on internship!!  Manorcare Oak Lawn east is a rehab and long term care facility that has recently been reapproved to have recreation therapy interns.  They are currently loooking for recreation therapy interns for the fall/spring and next summer interships.
