I hope this email finds you well. My name is Will Fisher, I am the Track Operations Coordinator at World Wide Technology Raceway, in Madison, IL. We are a premier motorsports and entertainment complex. The facility features a unique 1.25 mile oval that hosts major events such as NASCAR and INDYCAR, along with an infield road course and an NHRA-sanctioned drag strip.

We are currently hiring interns for the upcoming summer event season, and I was hoping you might be willing to share the attached internship opportunity with students in your program who may be interested in gaining hands-on experience in motorsports and event operations.

World Wide Technology Raceway is looking for highly motivated interns that are prepared to work in a fast-pacedmotorsportsenvironment.Interns willassisttheTicketing,Sales,Marketing,Operations,andFacility Managers on daily ticket operations, sales, hospitality, signage, accounting, event production and activation. This internship will teach the importance of strategic planning, organization, coordination, and communication skills within many areas. Pay Range: ($15-17/hour).

Thismaybeafull-timeorpart-timeroledependingonrequirementsforcollegecreditandthestudent’savailability. Major event weeks and weekends may require full-time availability. This position can be a combination of course credit and/or hourly pay. Internships will begin in May 2026 and run through August 2026 with an opportunity to continue through the end of the event season.

EducationandExperience

Working toward a bachelor’s degree in sport management, business, advertising,communications,marketing,hospitalitymanagement, or related fields.
ProficiencyinMicrosoftOffice.

Qualifications

Musthaveexcellentcustomerserviceskillstoengagewithfansatavarietyofevents.
Overall, positive attitude and desire to learn as much as possible during the internship.
