The Recreation Supervisor at the direction of the Superintendent of Recreation, oversees the Cultural Arts department (Dance, Theatre, and Music), Special Events, Birthday Parties, 4 Paws Dog Park, and the Garden Club. The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for development and management of the District’s Dance Academy that offers wide variety of dance classes, dance recitals, private lessons, and dance camps. The supervisor is responsible for the coordination of the Theatre program consisting of two productions a year, a summer theatre camp, and theatre related classes. This position is responsible for overseeing the music program including private lessons, recruitment of qualified instructors, and showcases.
